Cooking Classes & Recipe Sampling Days in the Food Bank

Sampling Days: Sample a recipe made from food available at the food bank, prepared by culinary students from Johnson & Wales.

  • 3rd Thursday of every month, 11 a.m. in the Food Bank

Cooking Classes: Learn to make the recipe featured the previous week.

  • 4th Thursday of every month, 3 p.m. in the Food Bank

All recipes will be easy to prepare, using the food available in the food bank. 
Foods will be easy to prepare and nutritional for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
J&W Students will be teaching under the direction of our Registered Dietician.

2nd CHANCE Checking & Savings Accounts onsite at CAP

Need a safe place to put your money? Want to set up direct deposit for your checks, or learn about online banking? Do you have questions about your personal finances?

  • On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Andrew will be in the Employment Center to assist you!

Andrew, a local personal banker, will be at CAP twice each month to assist you with opening a free checking and savings account. Bring only your ID. Andrew loves to work with people who don’t have an account or have been unhappy with other bank's customer service.
