Colorado AIDS Project | Client Services | Counseling
Learning I was HIV-positive sent me into a downward spiral both personally and professionally. My life was fine, stable and then I discover I have this virus. Just having that knowledge can be daunting. But, with support, I am coming to terms with it and moving forward. We need programs to help people who face both the virus and ultimately the disease. There's so much fear that accompanies the diagnosis.
