SIGN-IN FIRST

To expedite your time at Registration the morning of the event, complete and use the envelope you received with this mailing. Total all categories as indicated and place contributions and completed paperwork inside. Reseal the envelope. It’s that simple!

• Plan to arrive at Cheesman Park, rain or shine, between 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6th. {Walk and Run will start at 10:30 a.m.}
• Report to Registration located at the east side of the park at 9th Ave. to turn in money, matching gift forms,pledge sheets and online donation report (if fundraising online).

TEAM MEMBERS

Upon arriving at Cheesman Park, head to Registration and turn in your money before reporting to Team Land. Volunteers will be on-hand to assist you with locating your team once you have completed the Registration process.

RAIN OR SHINE

Even if it rains, please come to the event and sign-in at 8:30 a.m. to turn in your contributions and sponsor form. If heavy rain forces the cancellation of AIDS Walk Colorado, you will receive credit for participating and be asked to collect and send in all outstanding pledges.

HIV TESTING

HIV testing will be provided by Denver Public Health. For more information, visit the Hey Denver booth during the event.

ROUTE CHANGE

The City of Denver is doing construction on 7th Ave., so we have adjusted the route to utilize 8th and 9th Avenues. RUNNERS, the Run Start has moved to the north end of the park at the intersection of 12th Ave. and Cheesman Park Roadway. {See map on reverse side}

AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT

Founded in 1987, the AIDS Memorial Quilt is a poignant memorial, a powerful tool for use in preventing new HIV infections, and the largest ongoing community arts project in the world. One of the most touching parts of AIDS Walk includes the “Memorial Garden,” located in the Pavilion, where participants can view panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
